Staff meeting Safe
Last Saturday was the day again; the annual Staff Outing for employees with their partners!
The beautiful weather, the fine location at Genneper Parken Eindhoven, the low-threshold golf competitions, the cool drinks combined with the perfectly prepared barbecue; it was great. But above all, the presence of a friendly club of people made the day another success!
Construction Day
On Saturday 17 June 2023, bouwend Nederland will organise the Construction Day for the sixteenth time! Construction companies will proudly open their building sites to the Dutch public. That day, young and old can come and discover what is involved in building houses, roads, hospitals, locks, dykes and stations, among other things.
Newly commissioned: Ineos Project ONE - Tank foundation

With Project ONE petrochemicals giant Ineos is bringing one of Europe's most innovative olefin complexes to the port of Antwerp. Commissioned by TM SCO-MBG (construction combination of Stadsbader Contractors and MBG), Safe B.V. is helping to build an impressive tank foundation of over 8,000m2. The concrete slab with a thickness of 1,200 mm is located at a height of some 1.7 metres above ground level. We were asked to take on not only the engineering and supply of the support system, but also the assembly of the support, including deck formwork. Fast and Safe, as it should be!
New floodgates Afsluitdijk
Safe keeps it dry with you
The sea level is rising and so our Afsluitdijk has to hold back more water. At the same time, the height difference between IJsselmeer and Wadden Sea decreases at low tide and the rivers carry more water. All this means that in future the existing sluices will not be able to discharge enough water to protect the dikes and harbours around the IJsselmeer. And so Rijkswaterstaat is initiating an impressive project. A project to which Safe is happy to contribute.
Verde Vista Zoeterwoude
Safe provides the equipment and expertise
Verde Vista is an area development of some 14.5 hectares in the urban region of Leiden, between the A4 motorway and the Green Heart. Initially, it was to house mainly offices. In recent years, however, the plan was swapped for the development of a new district, seamlessly combining living, working and shopping. A complex will rise here with a mix of flats; social rent, private sector and owner-occupied. Beneath it will be a car park with more than 350 parking spaces.
Northwest Hospital Alkmaar
Speed through smart solutions
Commissioned by the Noordwest Hospital Group, specialist healthcare contractor MedicomZes is building the first phase of the new Noordwest Hospital in Alkmaar. The new building, covering almost 35,000m2, consists of an 'acute axis' including operating rooms, emergency plaza, intensive care and nursing departments for complex care. Under all this is an underground car park of around 7,500m2.
