Verde Vista is an area development of some 14.5 hectares in the urban region of Leiden, between the A4 motorway and the Green Heart. Initially, it was to house mainly offices. In recent years, however, the plan was swapped for the development of a new district, seamlessly combining living, working and shopping. A complex will rise here with a mix of flats; social rent, private sector and owner-occupied. Underneath, there will be a parking garage with more than 350 parking spaces.
Plegt-Vos is responsible for the design and realisation of the 400 flats. The main contractor engaged Safe for engineering and rental support for the wide slab floors, insitu beams, precast balcony slabs and wall beams. A total of almost 40,000m2, divided between a basement deck and ten residential blocks. We also provide hull protection; our EPS fencing is placed in the cast-in-place facilities after the floor pour, ensuring a safe workplace.
