The Noordwest Hospital Group will completely rebuild its main location in Alkmaar in three phases.
The new building phase 1 contains the 'acute axis' with operating rooms and nursing departments for complex care, the emergency plaza and intensive care. An underground car park will be built under the building.
Safe, commissioned by MedicomZes (trade name of Visser & Smit Bouw), is helping to build this more than 30,000m2 hospital. Apart from supporting the prefabricated beams and wide slabs, Safe will also provide support and formwork for the insitu basement deck. Work is scheduled to start in mid-March 2023.
