In its search for a fast and safe working support system, Swiss firm Cosenz AG came to Safe via Scafom-rux Schweiz. Joint challenge: Viaduct Malley in the middle of Lausanne.
The insitu deck with a length of about 140 m and a concrete thickness of 680 mm runs in a slight slope from one abutment to the other. The total deployment involves almost 7,000m3 of support material, with a PVR built in to ensure the correct flow of traffic under the viaduct to be built. Assembly instructions were given to the relevant assembly crew at the start of assembly, and Safe carried out dumping checks a few days before the various pours. The concrete pours have since gone off without a hitch.
This new step in unfamiliar surroundings tastes like more. With a satisfied client and a challenging market, numerous opportunities come our way again. This is how we keep pushing our boundaries time and again.
